Returns

For items purchased online, we have a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days after receiving your item to return it. 

The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items. 

Please note that as our products are handmade, small imperfections or differences in shape, print, painting, size and colour are part of the charm of a handmade product. This is a characteristic of the handmade process and is considered a feature and not a fault.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and find a solution. We must be notified of damages to your order within 48 hours of receipt via email or writing. 

Please note that the postage and packing charge is non-refundable unless an item is deemed by us to be faulty. 

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 14 days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us via the contact form on our website. 

 

Handmade Products and Hand Printed Fabric

Hand made and hand printed fabrics need special care. Sunlight and detergents hasten fading. Please be advised to follow the washing instructions that accompany each item. Oscar Reed cannot be held responsible for any goods damaged by direct sunlight or for any goods washed incorrectly. Do not lay deep coloured items over light coloured surfaces due to the possibility of irreversible colour transfer. Oscar Reed cannot be held responsible for any such damage incurred. Oscar Reed cannot accept any returns due to slight colour and size differences between any goods depicted on our Website and the actual sizes and colours, which may for instance have occurred in the printing and dyeing process.

Returns of items purchased at in-person events

We understand that occasionally you may want to return items. You must notify us within 14 days of purchase of your item, and provide proof of purchase. We will be happy to offer you a gift voucher for the value of the returned items,  provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect unused condition and in any original packaging. Please contact us to arrange returns.

We strongly advise you to use a parcel tracking service to return your item as responsibility will not be accepted for parcels lost or damaged in transit. Please ensure that your name is included inside your parcel. 

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us immediately. Any seconds or sale items are not returnable and cannot be refunded.
